Solution requirements
Description
The solution requirements include all the requirements that the future system or product must fulfill. This includes the specialist and technical requirements, but also expected characteristics, functions, legal and solution-relevant and regulatory requirements, operational, support and security requirements, as well as requirements for optimization and defect correction of any existing products or systems.
In traditional solution development, the solution requirements are prepared in the concept phase on the basis of the study and the situation analysis in the final level of detail and are successively updated during solution development via change management as needed.
In agile solution development, the solution requirements are prepared for the first time on the basis of the study and the situation analysis in the execution phase as an initial product backlog. As part of self-organized agile implementation, changes are documented in the change status list and are only updated in the solution requirements via a change request if the project objectives, the budget or the time frame of the overall project change (see manage changes task).
