Requirements:

HERMES courses are not required to obtain the certification.

Preparatory courses are provided by the Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication FOITT, in French and German.

Additional information about the HERMES certification

• The certificate is valid 4 years.
• The HERMES certification is a 2 step process:
• HERMES Swiss Project Team Professional HSPTP
  

  Attests the following competence :

• Good knowledge of the basics of the project management method HERMES (as defined by the manuals “System development”, edition 2003 and „System Adaptation” edition 2005).
• Ability to function as a project collaborator (in any suitable role) in projects managed with HERMES.
  
• HERMES Swiss Project Manager HSPM
  Attests the following competence :

• Excellent knowledge about the HERMES project management method, as demonstrated in at least one project.

• Capable to apply knowledge and project experiences with success and methodologically in situ (execution competence).

• Capable to synthesise the project state and the demands according to the targeted audience and to present them effectively (communication competence).

• Suitable to function as a project leader in projects managed according to HERMES.
